Nonprofit Management Certificate The University of Illinois at Chicago's Online Certificate in Nonprofit Management emphasizes interactive learning, with seasoned instructors guiding every class. Students learn management principles across disciplines through dialogue with other nonprofit practitioners and interaction with Certificate in Nonprofit Management faculty. The program is entirely online, which allows participants from across the country and around the world to work together and learn from each other in a stimulating e-classroom. The certificate is comprised of six non-credit, intensive five-week courses delivered via the Internet. Each class can be taken on a stand-alone basis, but one must successfully complete all six courses to earn the Certificate*. *non-credit Certificate of Completion |

| Discount Information: | A $35 reduction in the course fee will be given to anyone who is a University of Illinois employee, student or alumni. Students who have completed one or more Certificate in Nonprofit Management course(s) may take advantage of our Referral Program, starting with registrations received for the October 2006 courses. |

| Cancellation/Refund Policy: | All fees must be paid before enrollments can be processed. A full
refund of fees, minus a $35 administrative fee, will be issued only if
a withdrawal request is made in writing (e-mail, postal mail or fax)
and received no later than three weeks before the first day of class.
Partial refunds will be issued until, but not after, the first day of
class. No refunds will be given once the first day of class has begun. Refund Schedule: 100%, less $35 admin fee: Notify External Education in writing no later than 3 weeks before the first day of class. 85%, less $35 admin fee: Notify External Education in writing no later than 2 weeks before the first day of class. 50%, less $35 admin fee: Notify External Education in writing no later than 1 week before the first day of class. 35%, less $35 admin fee: Notify External Education within 1 week of the first day of class and before the end of the business day (5 p.m., Central Time) on the day before the first day of class. Withdrawal requests should be e-mailed to: externaledu@uic.edu. External Education understands that organizations regularly register employees in a course. At any time prior to the first class meeting of a course, companies may name a substitute for a participant who is unable to attend. Companies must call, write or e-mail us to report the change. |
