Illinois Public Health Preparedness Center The Illinois Public Health Preparedness Center offers more than 60 competency-based, completely online courses that are continuously available, at no cost, and offered in a unique self-directed, instructor-led format. These courses enhance basic, cross-cutting and advanced competency needs for public health workers in areas that include:
The overall framework of courses available allows practitioners to selectively pursue training related to specific competencies as part of an individually tailored training program. In addition to courses offered directly by IPHPC, the course catalog includes online courses from other training centers. Many of these courses are entirely self-directed and do not include interaction with instructors. |
