Teaching/Learning in Nursing and Health Sciences Certificate

The Teaching/Learning in Nursing and Health Sciences Campus Certificate provides academic preparation for a nursing education career in a variety of contexts.

The courses introduce students to educational theory related to:

  • Teaching methods and student evaluation in classroom, clinical and online educational settings
  • Curriculum design and evaluation
  • Issues in nursing education administration.

The practicum course (90 contact hours), usually taken last in the sequence, is individualized to students needs, interests and teaching background, and provides students the opportunity to apply what they have learned in the program.
